Done In One Dental Implants in Riverview, FL

What Are Done In One Implants?

All-on-4 (also known as All-on-Four or full-arch dental implants) is a well-known method of replacing all upper or lower teeth using four dental implants. Done in One dental implants offer an alternative to All-on-Four/All-on-X protocols.

Unlike traditional dentures, which rest on the gums and can slip or shift, Done In One are:

  • Fixed (non-removable by the patient)
  • Secured directly to your jawbone
  • Capable of restoring 90% or more of natural bite force
  • Designed to look, feel, and function like real teeth

Starting the day after implant placement, a series of custom-designed try-ins are seated in the mouth to ensure patients are 100% satisfied with the fit, function, and esthetics of their new forever smile.

Benefits of Done In One Implants

1. Minimally Invasive & Efficient Treatment

  • Minimally Invasive with Fewer Implants: The Done In One protocol requires as few as four implants to secure a full-arch prosthesis. This is less invasive than other methods that may require more implants or bone grafting. If a patient’s anatomy will benefit from additional implants, they will be placed at no extra charge.
  • Done In One Surgery: Immediate implant placement after tooth extraction offers faster treatment, preserves bone structure, reduces healing time, minimizes surgeries, and improves aesthetics, allowing for next-day functionality.
  • Utilization of Existing Bone: Utilizing four implants with the Done In One protocol allows for placing the back implants at a 45-degree angle, utilizing the denser bone in the front of the jaw. This often eliminates the need for bone grafting, making it an option for patients with increased bone loss.
  • Immediate Load and Next-Day Results: In almost all cases, the Done In One protocol allows for immediate loading of a series of prostheses on the day following implant placement. This means patients can leave with a complete set of functional, customized teeth within 24 hours of their procedure, minimizing downtime.

2. Cost & Long-Term Reliability

  • Cost-Effective: Since only four implants per arch are needed, bone grafting is often unnecessary, and a final zirconia prosthesis is seated within a week, the Done In One protocol can offer an all-inclusive treatment fee that is typically far below what other centers charge, often saving our patients tens of thousands of dollars.
  • Stability and Long-Term Success: The angled placement of the back implants increases the prosthetic's stability and provides strong support for the entire arch. This ensures a reliable, durable solution for patients, even in cases of moderate bone loss.

3. Aesthetics & Comfort

  • Aesthetic and Functional Benefits: The Done In One protocol restores the appearance of a complete set of natural-looking teeth and improves chewing ability, speech, and overall quality of life for our patients.
  • Better Aesthetic Outcome: Using a 3D-printed prototype allows the patient to review the prosthesis's appearance—such as shape, color, and alignment—in the mouth before the final version is made. This ensures that the final result matches the patient's aesthetic expectations.
  • Greater Comfort During the Procedure: Traditional impression materials can be uncomfortable for patients, especially in full-arch cases. Photogrammetry eliminates the need for these materials, providing a more comfortable, less invasive data-collection experience.
  • More Personalized Treatment: Patients benefit greatly from a far superior, fully customized digital approach. Photogrammetry captures the unique positioning of implants, and the 3D-printed prototype allows the patient to provide feedback on comfort and aesthetics. This ensures the final prosthesis is tailored to the patient’s specific needs and preferences.
  • Higher Patient Confidence and Satisfaction: The ability to perform a try-in phase before milling the final zirconia prosthesis increases patient confidence in the outcome. Knowing that the final restoration will look and feel right boosts overall satisfaction with their new smile.

4. Precision & Technology

  • Improved Fit and Comfort: Photogrammetry, a highly accurate digital scanning technology, captures the exact positioning of dental implants without the need for physical impressions. When combined with 3D-printed prototypes, this ensures a perfect fit, reducing discomfort and the need for future adjustments.
  • Enhanced Precision and Accuracy: Photogrammetry eliminates potential errors caused by traditional impression methods (like distortion or model inaccuracies). This leads to more precise alignment of the prosthesis with the implants, ensuring optimal occlusal and functional performance.
  • Shorter Chair Time and Fewer Appointments: By using photogrammetry to capture implant positions and ensuring results with 3D-printed prototypes, the prosthesis design process becomes more streamlined. This drastically reduces the number of necessary appointments to as few as three and the time spent in the dental chair to as little as five hours total, leading to a faster, more efficient treatment process.
  • Streamlined Communication and Collaboration: Digital workflows facilitate seamless communication between the clinical team and the Done In One Lab. This ensures that all parties have access to the same detailed information and specifications, reducing the chances of errors and improving efficiency throughout the treatment process.
  • Minimized Errors and Adjustments: The combination of photogrammetry and 3D-printed prototypes provides a preview of the final prosthesis in the mouth, helping identify and correct potential fit or aesthetic issues early in the process. This results in a highly successful outcome when the final prosthesis is seated, ensuring patient satisfaction.
  • Reduced Risk of Prosthetic Failure: The risk of implant overload, misalignment, or improper bite is significantly reduced by precisely mapping implant positions and testing the 3D-printed prototype for functionality and fit. This ensures a more durable and long-lasting prosthesis.
  • Faster Turnaround Time for Final Prosthesis: Since photogrammetry provides highly accurate data and 3D-printed prototypes enable pre-final testing, the entire workflow is more efficient, allowing the final prosthesis to be completed and delivered in about one week, significantly shortening the overall treatment time for our patients.

Who’s a Candidate for Done In One?

This treatment may be right for you if:

  • You're missing most or all teeth in your upper or lower arch
  • You're wearing traditional dentures and want a fixed solution
  • You have failing teeth that need to be removed
  • You want a fast, durable, and life-changing smile upgrade
  • You want to avoid the extensive procedures required for multiple single implants

As a dentist in Riverview FL, Dr. McDuffie will evaluate your bone structure, medical history, and goals to determine if All-on-4 is the best approach.

What to Expect from the Done In One Process

  1. COMPLIMENTARY EVALUATION
    Medical and Dental history
Your initial, complimentary evaluation at Done In One will include 3D radiographic imaging. After obtaining your medical and dental history, a certified Done In One provider will ensure your candidacy for dental implants. Afterwards, we’ll discuss your treatment goals, present all of your clinical options, and go over the pros and cons of each. If you’re ready to move forward, a small deposit can be collected to secure a records appointment and procedure date. No pressure though – we understand that this is a big decision and we encourage you to think it over and contact us with any questions or if you’d like to proceed.
  2. RECORDS
    Designing your New Smile
Your records appointment will consist of planning your case, reviewing and signing all consent forms, reviewing all medications you’ll be prescribed, and records of your current dentition. We will plan the design of your new smile, including the shape, style, and shade of your new teeth. Payment is finalized and records are sent to our lab to begin preparations.
  3. The Procedure
Upon being sedated and comfortably numbed, any remaining dentition will be carefully removed (if needed). Immediately afterward, titanium implants will be surgically placed into the jawbone, acting as artificial tooth roots. These implants fuse with the bone over time through a process called osseointegration, providing a stable and secure foundation. Then begins the restorative phase, during which the records needed to design each patient's perfect smile are created. Before discharge, patients receive thorough aftercare instructions outlining what to expect and how to manage the postoperative period.
  4. 3D Printed Try-In Phase
The very next day, you will return for a postoperative checkup. We will examine all implant sites and sutures to confirm that healing is progressing well. To ensure that you are 100% happy with the look, feel, and function of your new smile, we will deliver a 3D-printed replica of your new custom-designed teeth – not a converted denture. These teeth will be screwed in and are not removable by the patient. We will make any adjustments necessary and perform another set of digital scans with your new teeth in place. If you would like any aesthetic changes, we will send those requests to our master designers and deliver your redesigned try-in the following day. If you love everything just the way it is, we will begin replicating the design in stunning zirconia.
  5. Permanent Zirconia
In as little as two days from your approval of the design, we will replace your printed try-ins with your meticulously crafted permanent zirconia teeth. We will conduct a final checkup to ensure your healing is optimal and to address any concerns you may have. You will receive a custom-made night guard and thorough written instructions on caring for your new teeth over the next 90 days and beyond. Patients are prescribed a 90-day soft diet during healing and will also receive thorough, written dietary recommendations and limitations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Still have questions?

Question

Answer

What’s included in the full-mouth dental implant treatment?

Done In One® specializes in all-inclusive full-mouth dental implant treatments with a single global fee covering: consultation, CBCT imaging (3D X-Ray), all extractions (including impacted teeth), implant placement, 3D-printed try-in phase, permanent zirconia prosthesis, follow-up appointments, custom night guard, and an industry-leading warranty on both teeth and implants.

Does the procedure hurt?

Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the procedure is. We use conscious sedation (oral Halcyon), nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and local anesthesia. Patients typically feel no pain during surgery and often have little memory of the actual procedure. Post-operatively, most experience mild discomfort manageable with prescribed medications (ibuprofen, steroids, optional narcotics, and antibiotics). The initial recovery period is typically 7-10 days. Patients consistently report that the procedure was far less painful than anticipated.

How long do Done In One implants last?

Dental implants are designed to last 15-25 years or more, and with proper care, can last a lifetime. Our monolithic (single-piece) zirconia prostheses have a failure rate of less than 1% over 5-10 years. The titanium implants integrate permanently with your jawbone. We currently offer a 2-year warranty, and you can sign up for a lifetime warranty available upon undergoing the procedure, demonstrating our confidence in durability and quality.

What if I’ve worn dentures for years?

The Done In One protocol is specifically designed for moderate bone loss. Strategic 45-degree angled implant placement utilizes denser frontal bone, often eliminating the need for bone grafting. However, in rare cases where bone density is insufficient, bone grafting may be necessary and it’s included in your all-inclusive fee at no extra cost. Our doctors will evaluate your specific bone structure during your complimentary consultation using advanced CBCT imaging.

Is this covered by insurance?

To keep our fees competitive, Done In One is an out-of-network provider. We can assist with filing for insurance reimbursement, and many patients receive meaningful reimbursement, sometimes up to $8,000, depending on their plan. Some insurance companies reimburse only up to their annual maximum, typically $1,500–$2,500.
